I’ve always been a massive chilli fan, I’ll happily eat it everyday and it forms the basis of lots of my signature dishes. That’s why I was so excited to be ‘shopping’ for ingredients for our Big Chilli Hamper!
We are so lucky that we get to spend time at foodie shows meeting other suppliers so they were our first port of call when we were making up the Hampers.
The lovely people at Perthshire Oatcakes are behind our Handmade Chilli oatcakes. These are delicious with a coating of cool homemade ricotta and topped with Chilli Jam from our friends at Galloway Lodge…delicious!
I know it’s not traditional to add cheese to risotto but I always do! Our Tomato & Chilli risotto is delicious with chunks of homemade mozzarella melting into it. A proper hearty winters dinner.
What’s better in the evening than to sit with your feet up with a roaring fire and some chocolate? I’ll tell you….a roaring fire, some chilli chocolate, smooth caramel, pepper and chilli popcorn with a glass of The Big Red that’s what! Complimented by something really really trashy on the telly. The perfect night in!
