Yes. As proven by science. An experiment in Switzerland called ‘Cheese in Surround Sound‘ discovered that when exposed to music (specifically hip hop) ageing cheese tastes better.
The experiment placed nine wheels of Emmental cheese in wooden crates and pumped five different genres of music at them 24/7 for six months. The cheese exposed to six months of A Tribe Called Quest had “a discernibly stronger smell and stronger, fruitier taste than the other test samples”.
Because A Tribe Called Quest are awesome.
Not exactly. Science said ‘More extensive testing is required in order to determine whether there is a link between exposing cheese wheels to music as they mature and discernible sensory differences.’
The researchers now want to expose cheese to five to ten different types of hip-hop to see if it has similar effects.
