We are often asked if our Kits are gluten free (yes they are!) by people buying them as gifts for friends and family with a gluten free diet. We had this in mind when deciding on our range of hampers. Why not make one which is Gluten free?
It’s tricky to buy ‘foodie’ gifts for someone with a Gluten free diet so we put together some really yummy treats in our Big Gluten Free Hamper, trying to make them a bit of a break from the norm too. Seems you get stuck with a lot of the same stuff…”you can eat these oatcakes right?”!
We opted for a really lovely bread mix from Bob’s Red Mill. The good thing about it is you can use the leftover whey in the mix to make a lovely creamy bread. Top that off with some homemade ricotta and sweet olive and almond paste for a delicious lunch…washed down with your Big Red or Big White wine. Well it is Christmas!
Our friends at Joe & Seph’s supplied us with Smooth Caramel and White Chocolate popcorn as a delicious little sweet gluten free addition. Unfortunately for us we had to sample ALL their popcorn before settling on that one. Life is very hard for us at times!
