Made creamy goats cheese and it went down a treat! Made crumbly goats cheese last night & looks amazing. Had a nibble and looking forward to tucking in later! So simple and quick. Great kit, easy to follow instructions & brilliant results!

First cheese kit I’ve tried and it worked! Very pleased with myself. I used half quantity milk as not too confident about achieving the desired result, but the soft cheese is really rather good. I created a log with herbs around, chives work very well. The crumbly version less sucessful, but I misread the instructions and added the salt, then realised it wasn’t there and maybe I shouldn’t have done. Only negative was the citric acid caused a skin irritation on my hands, so I’ll be more careful next time.
Thanks so much for letting us know! Well done and happy cheese making!
I was given this kit as a Christmas Present and I didn’t think I could make the cheese, I read the instructions which are very clear and easy and the process looked so simple none the less I am a skeptic and refused to believe I could do this. I decided to do the soft cheese following the instructions meticulously, yet even while I was pouring out the whey I kept thinking this isn’t going to work it too liquid. Lo and behold to my amazement and as if by some sort of magic once it was hung I had cheese, lovely tasting cheese that got the thumbs up from my most discerning critic, my Mum. By the way, I used the whey to cook ravioli and used part of the cheese to make a cheese sauce for it, they were scrumptious. I also kept a bit of the whey for a bath makes skin super soft. Next batch will be the crumbly goats cheese.
