The Big Vegan Cheese Making Kit

These dairy free cheese recipes have been developed to get as close to the ‘real thing’ as possible. Working with vegan friends who have all been largely disappointed by shop bought vegan cheese (a lot of which is based on coconut oil and water…yuck!) our recipes use either Cashews or Macadamia nuts, and a little Almond milk. When one friend exclaimed “it’s the best vegan cheese I’ve ever tasted!” I knew we’d got there!

Your Vegan Cheese Making Kit is a simple and fun introduction to cheese making. It contains all the ingredients you need to make six varieties of vegan cheese in your own kitchen with no fancy equipment.  You’ll be surprised at how quick and simple it is and how good it tastes!

With these 6 different dairy free cheeses to make across 20 batches it’s enough to keep everyone in cheese for quite some time!

For each cheese you get wonderful recipes such as Vegan Chocolate Cake with Ricotta Icing, and Fried Halloumi with Caper Salad.  All the recipes were created in-house by Ailsa.

There’s enough ingredients to make 20 batches. There’s no need to make it all at once though… that would be a crazy amount of cheese! Stored in your cupboard this kit will last absolutely ages (well over a year) so you have plenty of time to enjoy it and dip in and out of cheese making.

At Big Cheese HQ we think it’s nice to be nice, so we post our Kits FREE via First Class Royal Mail to mainland UK. Throughout the year they’ll take 3-4 working days to arrive, though at busy times (like Christmas) Royal Mail can take up to 2 weeks, so make sure you order in good time!

If you need your Kit in a hurry, we offer a courier signed for service at a cost of £4. We use UPS who usually deliver within 1 working day on orders made before 1pm, though it may be 2 working days depending on your postcode. Should you order two or more Kits, we’ll upgrade you to our courier service FREE of charge!

    As a vegan of over ten years, I’ve tasted some really yuck attempts at vegan cheese… so I was super happy to taste the yum cheeses from the Kit! The variety of different kinds is a real treat (exciting to have ricotta!!) and as well as being tasty they’re texturally like dairy cheese. What’s especially good too is that they’re all healthy ingredients and fresh made, so what’s not to love!

    I recently gave up drinking milk and most dairy. I’m not lactose intolerant but I feel much better. Different milks took time to get a taste for, but with vegan cheese you can’t tell the difference. I was really pleasantly surprised. It’s truly delicious. I ate vegan mozzarella on a pizza…it was fantastic in taste and texture. I’m a convert!

    I was intrigued to see if this kit made vegan cheese would be as tasty as some of my favourite types of cheese. The feta was tangy and dense like feta should be and tasted amazing with a dressing in a salad. The mozzarella was creamy and yummy on a pizza! I was amazed by how nuts and a few special ingredients can create really fantastic tastes. Highly recommend a try!
